In a world forcibly divided, separated into stratified layers of social heirarchy, I was at the top.

 

My name is Avery Optime, and I am a Descendant. Daughter of Olympia royalty, King and Queen Optime. I have been living the luxurious life of an heiress, until now.

A change in the rules of society means that Avery Rose Optime is to be Cured. In the year 2118, upon turning eighteen, each member of society must take the Cure. A pill that enhances one section of the brain, whilst leaving the remainder effectively dead.

 

Avery will do anything she can to remain human.

 

But evading the Cure means lying, running, cheating, hiding. How long can she keep it up?
